Delete your account

Last updated · 17 July 2026

This page explains how to delete your Arnivar account and what happens to your information. Arnivar is operated by Blackburn Solutions (Australia). How deletion works depends on how your account was created. Find the section that matches you below.

In short: deletion is available from inside the app at Profile → Delete account. Your account is deactivated immediately, held for a 7-day grace period in case you change your mind, then your personal details are permanently de-identified. Emergency-event and compliance records are kept in de-identified form for workplace-safety record-keeping.

1. If you created an Arnivar Respond Lite account

You can delete your account yourself:

  1. Open the Arnivar app and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

You can also email help@arnivar.com from your registered address and we'll action it for you.

If you are the account owner (the person who created the site), deleting your account also closes your organisation's Arnivar site. If other people are still on your site, the app will ask you to remove them first, or you can contact help@arnivar.com to transfer ownership to someone else.

2. If your organisation registered you

If your employer, building manager or their safety partner added you to Arnivar, your warden and safety records are part of their emergency-management program. Requests to delete those records go to them: please contact your Arnivar administrator, or email us at admin@arnivar.com and we'll pass your request on.

You can remove Arnivar's access to your device at any time, without waiting on your organisation: open the app, go to Profile, and tap Delete account. This immediately signs you out on every device, stops all notifications, and deactivates your account; we then de-identify your personal details as described below.

3. What happens when you delete

4. What we keep, and why

Emergency-event, evacuation, training and compliance records are retained in de-identified form (no longer linked to you) so organisations can meet their workplace-safety record-keeping obligations. Historical messages may retain the display name shown when they were sent. We also keep a minimal log of the deletion request itself (that it was made, and when it was completed) as evidence that we handled it, and the record of your acceptance of in-app safety and legal notices, which we may need to show what you were told while you used the service.

This is consistent with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
