Cookie Policy

This policy covers the public Arnivar website at arnivar.com. It explains exactly which cookies we set, what each one is for and how long it lasts. The Arnivar Respond mobile app and the Arnivar Admin portal are separate products and are not covered here. For those, see our privacy policy.
1. Cookies we set if you accept
These are set only after you press Accept on the cookie banner. Until then, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, so no request reaches Google and no cookie is created.

Both are first-party cookies, meaning they are stored under arnivar.com rather than by a third-party domain. Google acts as our service provider for analytics. See Google's privacy policy for how they handle the information.
2. Storage we use regardless of your choice
One item is stored whichever way you answer, because we have to remember your answer in order to honour it. It is stored in your browser's local storage rather than as a cookie, so declining really does leave this site with zero cookies.

3. What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies. We run no ad pixels, no conversion tags and no social media trackers.
- No cross-site tracking. Nothing here follows you to other websites.
- No server-set cookies. Our web server sets none, and neither does the contact form. Submitting an enquiry sends your message to us without setting a cookie.
- No sale of data. We do not sell or rent information about visitors to anyone.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your answer at any time, and withdrawing is exactly as easy as giving. Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or the button below.
If you switch from accept to decline, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser straight away. You can also clear cookies yourself in your browser settings, or block them entirely, and the site will keep working normally.
5. Fonts are served from our own server
Our pages use the Figtree typeface, which we host on arnivar.com ourselves rather than loading it from a third-party font service. No request for fonts leaves our server, so no font provider receives your IP address or browser details, and no cookies are involved. We previously loaded fonts from Google Fonts, which set no cookies but did mean Google received your IP address as the page loaded. That no longer happens.
6. The app and the admin portal
The Arnivar Respond mobile app and the Arnivar Admin portal at admin.arnivar.com are separate products, and this policy does not cover them. Neither carries any analytics or advertising cookies. Any cookies the admin portal does use are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure, and strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the service cannot function without them. How those products handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.
7. Changes to this policy
If we start using a cookie that is not listed here, we will update this page and ask for your consent again before setting it. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
